Green Men, Grey Tanks is a tactical hex-based game. Control your units, capture flags, and outwit your opponent.
Select a unit to see its range. Click a highlighted hex to move. Terrain affects speed.
Select adjacent units and click an enemy to attack. Combat depends on odds and a dice roll (d6).
Every unit exerts a ZOC over its six adjacent hexes. ZOC represents the area the unit can influence with its fire.
Units need a supply line to their side's supply sources (marked with dashed borders) to operate at full efficiency. Supply travels through roads or open terrain.
Blocking Supply: Supply lines are blocked by enemy units and their ZOC. However, a friendly unit occupying a hex negates the enemy ZOC for supply purposes in that hex.

*Roads reduce movement cost to 0.5 points. Crossing a river edge costs an extra +1 point. Attacking across a river reduces attacker strength by 1/3.

Artillery is a long-range support unit with unique rules:
A tank that destroys an enemy unit and advances into the vacated hex earns a Breakthrough: its attacked flag is reset, allowing it to attack again this turn. Each tank can use breakthrough only once per turn.
The game is won either by wiping out all enemy units, or by having the most points when the turn limit is reached. Points are awarded for the following achievements:
